From Coffee Van to Community Hub: The Journey of South Street Coffee Co

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news: South Street Coffee Co has officially opened its doors in Emsworth! What began as a humble mobile coffee venture, My Little Coffee Co, has blossomed into a vibrant brick-and-mortar café, thanks to the incredible support from our community.
A Dream Realized
In 2023, I launched My Little Coffee Co, a mobile coffee van serving delicious brews at South Lane Meadow in Clanfield. The response was overwhelming, and as our customer base grew, so did my aspiration to establish a permanent space where people could gather and enjoy quality coffee in a cozy setting.
Transforming a Space
The journey to opening South Street Coffee Co was no small feat. The location, formerly a barbershop, required extensive renovations, including full rewiring, damp treatments, plastering, decorating, and replacing a deteriorated shop front.After months of hard work, the transformation was complete, and we opened our doors on April 4.
Community Support
Since opening, the support from locals and visitors alike has been heartwarming. We’ve welcomed guests from as far as Bognor, and many familiar faces from our mobile van days have stopped by. The positive feedback and encouragement have been truly inspiring.
Our Offerings
At South Street Coffee Co, we proudly serve coffee from Winchester Coffee Roasters, accompanied by a selection of sweet treats and a variety of hot and cold beverages. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home.
